According to Croatian law, at least one person on the vessel must hold a valid boat license.
If you wish to rent a boat without a skipper, you must have a valid license and sufficient experience in operating a vessel.<\/p>\n

Boat licenses in Croatia are issued by the Port Authorities. If your license was issued in a foreign country, you should check whether it is recognized and valid for navigation in Croatian territorial waters.<\/p>\n

To obtain a Croatian boat license, you must attend a course and pass an exam that includes both theoretical and practical parts. If your license was issued abroad, you can contact us and we will check whether it is recognized in Croatia. The fastest and easiest way for us to do this is if you send us a photo or scan of your license, so we can see exactly which type of license you have and provide you with an accurate answer. If there is anything wrong with your documents, we will inform you immediately.<\/p>\n

You must also have the original documents with you on board, so please do not forget to bring them. Croatian regulations are very strict on this matter, and it is not possible to rent a boat without all the required documentation.<\/p>\n
